This product worked very well to protect from rain deposits. After showers, the water beaded rather than soaking into the fabric. I can only assume that this is good for the life and appearance of the soft top. Every soft top owner should own this product and also its accompanying product 303 Cleaner (also available on Amazon.com). I recommend using this product at least once every 2 months.

I had been looking around for the 303 Fabric Guard for some time because it came highly recommended as the best product for keeping the convertible top on my ‘07 Mini S in prime condition. I found Amazon had the best price and I have always had great experiences using the site. The product arrived far sooner than I expected and the recommendations were spot on…it is a great product and so in turn, I am highly recommending both the 303 product as well as Amazon.

I had a “canvas” type of gazebo that only lasted me about 2-3 years because of mildew problems, water would leak through, and just looked like junk after even just the first summer from sun fading. So when I found the 303 formula and read up on it, I decided to try it. It works beautifully!!! Now, when it rains, you literally see the water bead up and roll right off, so you can tell there is a strong barrier there protecting my NEW gazebo from the harsh affects of the UV, water protecting it, guarding from mildew etc. The only downfall in my view, is that it does need to be re-applied once every 3 months roughly. But really that’s not so bad. Once everyone saw how it was working on our gazebo, my significant other went and bought 2 bottles, 1 for our boat cover, and one for the truck cover, my parents went and bought a few bottles for their patio furniture, patio furniture covers and patio umbrella. So we’re all quite happy with our purchase(s). I would recomend this product to anyone that wants their outdoor things protected. (My mom even used some on her silk hanging floral baskets, we’ll see how it works with that as well!)

I have a Mitsubishi Eclipse convertible top looked okay but when it rained it poured inside, not from the seals but from the canvas top, so I just never drove it in the rain. But when I read the reviews about this product I decided to try it, I really doubted that it would work but I followed all the instructions in about a week later before a rainstorm, I picked up the hose and soaked the car top down and checked inside everything was dry, The water beaded up and just rolled off, amazing. Anyway when the rain came and took it out on the freeway on the way to work still a little doubtful to, but it stayed completely dry this stuff really works. I am sold.
