I bought this bag for my daughter to school (1st class) to take. It ’s a cute bag, but the band is bulky and heavier than the rest of the bag. It ‘also much smaller than I expected. The largest compartment is not even enough to meet their homework folder. The material is a smooth material that probably would be resistant to stains, but for those who use them for work / school - do not waste your money. Not work. Rating: 5.2
