As comfortable as it is functional
The Wii Remote is equally comfortable in right and left hands and houses just the right number of buttons for gaming- not so many that new players will get confused, but enough so that Wii games don’t feel constrained. On the face of the remote are the D (or “plus”) pad, a large “A” button which is used for major on-screen actions, and two small options buttons. Between the game buttons are a plus and minus buttons (which often act as “forwards” and “back”), as well as a “Home” button to engage the Wii home screen to change settings or check remote battery levels. It took them long enough, but Nintendo has finally come over to the dark side! Holding this black Wiimote fills one with the sense that one can conquer any video game with a single swing towards the Wii Sensor Bar. A great multitude of foes fall frequently in the wake of this controller’s dark power.
As soon as I opened the package, my Wii games started rattling and shaking as each game tried to move itself behind another. They recognized that they were no match for the black Wiimote. Suddenly, a three star rating in Mario Kart Wii was an easy feat. 242 stars in Super Mario Galaxy? No problem! Even my guitar playing in Guitar Hero 5 improved.
The addition of the Wii MotionPlus accessory is an added benefit, but it’s really more about the prestige that comes with owning your very own midnight black controller. It goes without saying that the Wii Nunchuk Controller - Black is a necessary accompaniment and proves to be a worthy companion to the black Wiimote. Get them both. You will not regret it.

Ok ignore my previous review. Apparently you have to sync the remote everytime you use it. An inconvience, but it works. Once you sync it it works great!

When it has came down to the Nintendo Wii, it has definitely redefined the way we play video games. But, with all the great hype, they haven’t been able to make alternating colors with their controller, only silver, until now. This brand new Wii-mote bundle includes a all new Black Controller, which gives a much sleeker look for when you play all your favorite Wii titles like Super Mario Galaxy and The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess. But, there is even more, with the success of Wii Sports Resort delivering to fans, it now includes the special Wii motion Plus attachment that is included with the Wii-Mote, so you don’t have to get the Wii Motion Plus seperately anymore. It is a great must buy for anyone who wants to have all the needs of either swinging a gold club in Tiger Woods PGA ‘10, or skydiving in Wii Sports Resort. While there are so many companies that are now starting to make third-party remote controllers for the Wii, you honestly are much better off with Nintendo, with the sleekness and true to form way they control your way to the top of the game.

I purchased this controller bundle when I purchased my Wii. Unfortunately I have only played the Wii Sports, Mario Kart Wii and Super Mario Wii and none of them utilize the MotionPlus device. So in short, if you are just now purchasing a Wii and looking at accessories I would hold off on buying the MotionPlus until you know you will use/need it! I have been playing without it installed on the remote because the remote is more comfortable without the Motion Plus attached to it!
