Unfortunately I have only played the Wii Sports, Mario Kart Wii and Super Mario Wii and none of them utilize the MotionPlus device. So in short, if you are just now purchasing a Wii and looking at accessories I would hold off on buying the MotionPlus until you know you will use/need it! I have been playing without it installed on the remote because the remote is more comfortable without the Motion Plus attached to it! <br /> <br /> Rating: 5 / 5 I purchased this controller bundle when I purchased my Wii. Holding this black Wiimote fills one with the sense that one can conquer any video game with a single swing towards the Wii Sensor Bar. A great multitude of foes fall frequently in the wake of this controller's dark power. <br /> <br />As soon as I opened the package, my Wii games started rattling and shaking as each game tried to move itself behind another. They recognized that they were no match for the black Wiimote. Suddenly, a three star rating in Mario Kart Wii was an easy feat. 242 stars in Super Mario Galaxy? No problem!
