I was hesitant to purchase this gamepad as ive heard many bad reviews about many of the usb snes/nes gamepads. But since this one had decent reviews, i gave it a shot. I Purchased it from the seller SethCo, and they sent me the gamepad. It was a Tomee brand, not the retrolink ones that ive heard were awful. As soon as i plugged it in, my windows 7 immediately recognized it, and it took maybe 10 seconds to map the buttons in my emulator. The pad works EXACTLY as i remember the snes pad used to work, no issues whatsoever. Buttons and case seem to be close to the same durable plastic that the original snes pads were made of, and the dpad doesnt stick or anything like ive heard the others do. I recommend this gamepad 100%, and definitely recommend you purchase it from SethCo, it was the least expensive and i got it in 3 days. And you wont have to worry about getting one of the dreadful retrolink ones other places might send you. Tomee makes an nes usb pad i heard was just as good, and i just ordered it from sethco as well. Get them both, you wont regret it!

Recently bought a netbook for work and school on the go. Grabbed this controller to run with zsnes. The control is surprisingly authentic. I feel just like im playing with a real snes controller. Physically, the controller feels sturdy and well made. If you are looking for an authentic snes experience on a pc this is a great buy.

plugged in and worked on first try ran well with emulators i was using. the only thing is thing is a little creaky.
