I purchased the lifetime 1221 pro court basketball hoop it came when it was promised, the only problem I had was it was shipped with two of the same backets that hold the hoop up. I called the customer service department the same day and they shipped it out that day with a three day turn around. They gave me no problems. I recieved the part three days later and finished putting the hoop together. It was pretty easy me and my 67yr father put it together. My son which is 10 loves it. It is a good starter hoop

It's not expensive, I give it that, but the plastic is way too thin where screws tighen, especially the backboard. And the base HAS to have some weight either on it or in it, otherwise it can tip over very easily due to the inherent in-balance. The rolling wheel mechanism should also be secured by bolts and nuts instead of a shaft rolled into grooves. Otherwise it does its job, but never try to hang onto the hoop, the whole thing will break. I didn't bother to fill the base with water or sand and simply placed something heavy on it, but one time it was removed by accident and the stand fell forward. The V-shaped bracket behind the backboard promptly broke free from the bolt/nut secured to that thin plastic wall of the backboard. My mistake, but really wish it is built with higher grade material, or reinforce the nut area better or simply add thickness around that area.

The Lifetime Pro appeared to be the perfect gift; stylish, portable, and adjustable.....until I began putting it together the day prior to Christmas. The necessary parts/sizes needed to asure the structure is safe and secure were not included. Therefore, as long as there is a Home Depot close you will be good to go, however, I suggest putting your goal together long before you will need it, to make sure you are not missing something even more signifigant.

I received this item today and as we were putting it together, we realized that we were missing an entire package of the base hardware. I'm sure that this hoop is great, but because of the inconvenience of having to put it together without specific items required for optimum performance --- I have to give this item 1 star. Mistakes happen: I'm completely aware of that - however, having an eight year old completely disappointed outweighs any understanding and patience for such negligence. An eight year old's birthday only happens once and now what he is going to remember is utter disappointment. It's really a shame.

Okay.

You're not a ladies man. You don't need a corkscrew.

You're not an outdoorsman. You don't need a fish scaler.

You're not old. You won't need the magnifying glass for reading the newspaper.

You're not a rescue worker. You don't need a serrated blade for cutting seat belts.

You're not a real handy kind of guy. You don't need an assortment of screwdrivers, 1/4" bit adapter, wire cutter, file, or pliers like you would find on a full size multi tool.

You're not MacGuyver. You won't save the world with your Swiss Army Knife.

This little baby is perfect for the little girls, or IT tech types, in my life. They can keep the larger one in their purse, or pocket protecter, then attach the smaller one on their key chain. Those tweezers are perfect for plucking their eyebrows, or clipping onto their joints; and then they can call me, a real man with man's tools, to come along and jump start their cars, change their flats, change their light bulbs, open their jars, and spray WD-40 onto squeeky stuff.

All kidding aside. My niece loves her's. She simply does not need all of those other things that come with the other tools. This narrows it down to a few simple things that she will use. A small blade for opening mail. Little screwdrivers for battery doors. Everybody needs a bottle opener. She loves the large blade for cutting big sandwiches in half since she simply can't finish those giant deli combos. Her favorite part is the little scissors.

They are good and I do not know why we can't take them on airlines as who was the last one on a plane to die from a Swiss Army knife? Small on on my key chain for easy access to tools.

It's difficult to judge the performance of RAM unless you run specific benchmarks for it. I was having video card trouble and one of the possible causes I found was defective RAM. I ran Memtest4.0 for several hours (I know some people believe you need to run it for days) and the memory passed without any errors (I think it completed 5 or so passes). For the price I'm happy with the 4GB, but when I have a spare $100 lying around I'll definitely get another set of these.

These Ram modules were purchased to upgrade the memory in my new 64 bit OS computer. Upon receiving the items I noticed that the heat spreaders had separated from one of the units and were just flopping around in the package. It appears the glue attaching the heat spreaders was allowed to harden prior to attachement and thus separated. Although the unit could have been used without the attached heat spreaders, the constant abrasion of the loose parts against each other during shipping, created a high probability of potential damage.

Item return was easy and the replacement memory was without problems.
I selected Corsair for their good product reputation but my experience did not live up to it.
