Love the graphics, and at first the story line, but the lack of storyline control gets tedious…you have to wait until over halfway through the game to get some kind of autonomy. Once the story is complete, the game becomes much more challenging, and reminiscent of FF12 in its best parts.

I have not play very far into this game … because it is not worth my time. So far the graphics are great and in line with most FF but the one button present action game play of FF13 is not engaging. I will probably trade the game. Love the Xbox with 250 gig HD.

Never have been much of a XBOX player, normally played PS1/2/3. Son had an older XBOX 360 and after it had been returned twice to Microsoft for repair of overheating, the DVD player finally failed. This unit has a better processing unit (Jasper) and as such does not generate as much heat. The power unit is noticeably smaller than the old XBOX 360. The hard Drive is huge - 250GB, big jump from the old 20 GB. It does bother me that Microsoft makes them proprietary. PS3 will take any SATA 2.5″ HD.
HDMI port is now included, but somehow they still have not built in a wireless connection and it requires an add on wireless NIC. I connect to the internet with a standard ethernet cable.
The game itself is super. Vast world with a fast paced story and great battle interface. You won’t be disappointed.
Amazon also threw in a freebie (probably not available anymore) with a FF13 faceplate. Really dresses the unit up as the FF13 logo is also stamped on the HD unit.
