I had this sent to my grandson in Florida for his birthday. (9 years old) His review is “It’s great!”

While I hiked a nearby hill, I was able to talk to my kids inside a Walmart building in the valley 6 miles away. Very impressed. Also this walkie talkie is light and compact. Great for outdoors hiking.

easy to use. perfect for what I need it for, which is to allow contact with family while short distances away, ie walking in neighborhood. will reach about a mile in average terrain–mild hills & valleys. no complaints, except I wish it would reach further. like bright color, easy to locate.

We purchased this for our planetarium projectionist to keep in touch with the ticket desk. This lets him know how many people he has for shows, if he has a school group or special needs guest, etc. It seems to be working great. He’s been using it for about 2 months now and has no complaints. Our museum is inside a historic, remodeled train station, so there’s a lot of concrete, brick and steel construction. The distance between the planetarium and ticket desk is about 70 yards, and this radio gets great signal in that environment at that distance. Plus you can’t beat the price. Can’t say much more.
