I can’t believe that I’ve lived 28 years without S-clips!! they are amazing.

I originally purchased these to attach my keychain to my dog’s leash during walks. These are perfect and make it really easy to switch my keys from one leash to another.

After using them for that purchase, I can see them being useful in numerous situations. I haven’t used other clips, but they seem pretty easy to open and stay closed well. I wouldn’t use them for climbing mountains, but they work for holding keys or a camera during a walk!

Everyone should own a good supply of these S-clips, as I call them. They have an infinite variety of uses around the house, or away from it. I have carried them along on my hiking and camping trips for a good many years. You can easily attach a variety of carry along items to your belt or other gear, and they make securing a tent a cinch to not only anchor down, but release in a jiffy. Around the yard I use them to hang my bird feeders. They secure any feeder effortlessly, and as always with any use, some simple pressure on the clip releases it. No longer will it be necessary to untie and pull tight a guide line on your tent, hammock, or any other such item. Just unclasp and either add or subtract a clip and you are tight and secure. They are extremely strong, and you can easily use two or more together if a longer reach is necessary, as well as easily interchange sizes. All these clips are stainless and will stand up under the harshest conditions for many years with little wear to show for it. I have personally never had one fall apart or fail in any way.

Amazon makes it easy to stock up on the variety of sizes by offering free shipping on a bundle. I suggest you buy this handy three size which is very versatile in bulk, or package it together with other sizes to make the free shipping quota. You will pay the same price or cheaper than any local hardware store, and you won’t even have to leave the comfort of your home to get your hands on them. One of the best and most versatile pieces of hardware you can have handy for the home, or on the trail… Recommended.

These S-biners are GREAT! They fill several needs I’ve been having. I work in a data center and these S-biners #4 and #5 are great for hooking my tools and laptop bags to the cage/frame instead of laying them on the floor where people could trip or step on them. We have one set of keys to the server cages and I use an S-biner #1 on my badge to hold on to the keys which is great way to know quickly if I have the keys and don’t leave the building with them. I keep quite a bit of stuff in my laptop bag and S-binders #1 and #2 are great way to add extra orginization! I do agree with one of the other reviewers in that S-biners are not very good at keeping keys together in my pocket, but then again, I find small carbiners work much better for that.
