Obama Giving Dad’s Free Education through Scholarships and Grants
There are many people who are going without an education because they cannot afford to, or because of other responsibilities. Fathers take up a large percentage of this group. Sometimes there is not enough time in the day as is without classes and homework. School might mean taking another job, or not being around the children. In realizing education’s great importance in revitalizing the country, Obama has decided to give nation’s fathers another chance at getting their education.
Through the Federal Pell Grant, these individuals can apply to have their education paid for by the government each year for up to 18 semesters until they have completed their program. This includes thousands of different schools and classes. It can be public or private school, or even those programs that are offered online. These ones are especially helpful for those that need to stay home with their children. The grants are designed to cover the cost of tuition, books, and living expenses. You can be awarded up to $5100 per semester or $10,000 per year, which is an increase from $4050 a semester.
The application process is as simple as it could ever be. Simply fill out the form that you will find at the FAFSA website, and hand it in with the school’s enrollment papers, and it will be taken care of.
If you are still not convinced you can find more information at the Federal Government’s or the FAFSA’s websites. They will have all of the facts and figures for you and maybe you’ll realize that it’s your time.
