Colorado Mountain College is a network of seven junior college campuses located in western Colorado. It was established in 1967. This four year college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. It also provides numerous professional certifications and custom workforce training. The college enrolls more than 20,000 students every year.

The Spring Valley campus fields a soccer team that participates in the NJCAA. The Steamboat Springs campus has an alpine ski team, while the Timberline campus has a Nordic ski team, which competes in the USCSA.
