Your Body

Adolescence is a time of tremendous physical change that occurs at a faster and more dramatic rate than any you’ve previously experienced. Even the change from a wriggling, screaming newborn to a walking, talking two-year-old is no match for the transformation your body is now undergoing. And the question that always seems to accompany this transformation is: Am I normal, or am I the only person with (take your pick) small breasts/large breasts/no muscles/irregular periods/a high voice/a low voice/too much body hair?

This categories contains common general questions about the physical changes accompanying puberty. Questions about more specific problems (for example. heavy thighs, spontaneous erections, acne) are included in later categories (for these examples: Weight, Fitness, and Body Image; Sex and Sexuality; Skin).
